Welcome. Enter Freely and of Your Own Free Will

G'day folks,

Welcome to my Artician account. I hope you enjoy the works that you find here, as well as the journal if you care to read it. I've been drawing my whole life and recently archived a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art from Newcastle University, Australia. I'm now striving to make a career out of my art, hopefully in illustration of some kind. I'm also something of a writer so I've plans to try and publish a few illustrated novels. As you may be able to tell from my work I'm greatly inspired by comic and fantasy art illustration.

Please have a look around and I hope you enjoy what you see. I'd really appreciate any feedback and/or comments you wish to make on any of the works, including critiques, so please feel free to leave those if you wish.

Cheers.

Bustin' Makes Me Fashionable

Fashion label FCUK (or French Connection, for those of you not up with the lingo) are selling Ghostbusters t-shirts. There are six in all, three variations of the 25th Anniversary logo, two Slimer variations and one Mr. Stay Puft with the "Who Ya Gonna Call?" tagline. Personally, I don't really like any of them apart from the Slimer on a black...

Cool Comic Covers #5

I just realized that I forgot to do a Cool Comic Covers for the first shipment of the month. Thus, here I am rectifying that issue. The coolest comic cover for the shipment I received on the 6/11/09 is... Madame Xanadu #16 by Amy Reeder Hadley....

Ray Stantz, the Heart of the Ghostbusters

More Ghostbusters figures. First up, the 6" Ray Stantz. (Click on the thumbnails to see the images at full size.)Now for the real beauty. As awesome as the 6" figures are, nothing can compare to the majestic brilliance that is the 12" figures. Just check this baby out!I think I'm in love.... :)...

You're welcome! Oh, before I forget:

I put a 'snow-leyer' and 'darker-layer' on the frontpic, so it's looking like a little more old paper

Thank you so much for your kind comment and watch %) I appreciate it a lot!!! Kudos from Lisbon

Uhm... Okay.

The paper-technique is pretty easy.

You just color the frontpic in paper clays.
Then you paste it to your picture and pull the ends with the wipie finger, 'till the ends are fitting the wall texture in the background. Emotion: happy.gif

err............... which other technique?? Emotion: laugh.gif
oh, I did the same technique with the grafitti background.

Which technique? Emotion: laugh.gif

Hmm yes, perhaps, although I don't wish to throw myself in as class representative. I'd need to be careful there. I'll be the oldest person in the class, and I don't want them to lump the responsibility onto me but yes I agree that something needs to be done about it. I still can't believe it....

Thank you for saying hello both here and there =) I'm finding the majority of my time is here rather than there... and looking forward to all the things to come here. SO exciting!!! as for the CSS, I can't take any credit except for bitching until AHiLdesigns made me something
cool. Still have a few tweaks but yeah, I love it and appreciate the compliment.

IF you happen to be in the market for someone to pimp out your page, he's an awesome designer. I know he's working on a few commissions now but always open to more. Just gimme a shout. I'm his manager. ha ha ha

Looking forward to seeing more from you as well! *hugs*
